The Elite 9 is excited to introduce its newest division, Mite Prospects, giving the next generation of hockey players an early opportunity to experience E9 competition.

Designed for players born in 2020 and younger, the Mite Prospects division will provide young athletes with a taste of their E9 future through full-ice competition. The new division creates an exciting opportunity for developing players to gain valuable game experience, build confidence, and begin their journey with the Elite 9.

The 2026-27 season will mark the inaugural year of the Mite Prospects Division, bringing together organizations committed to developing the next generation of hockey talent.

The division officially kicked off this past weekend with four teams attending. The E9 prospects jamboree will be held on December 13th in Worcester, MA where the division will double in size and with additional teams joining in 2027.

The addition of the Mite Prospects Division represents another step in the Elite 9's commitment to player development, providing young athletes with an introduction to the league's competitive environment.

With full ice games, new experiences, and opportunities to grow, the Mite Prospects Division will serve as an exciting starting point for the leagues youngest players.
