Elite 9 Hockey League
NA Jr. Hawks Sisterhawk Program

The North American Jr Hawks are excited to introduce the Sisterhawk Mentorship Program, designed to foster connections between young athletes. This initiative pairs a 16U or 19U NAHA player with a younger Jr Hawks player from the 10U, 12U, or 14U divisions.

Throughout the season, mentors and mentees will engage in various activities, including on-ice training, game support, and bonding events. They’ll also maintain their connection through letter writing.

Recently, the community came together for an inspiring event at the BC Women’s Hockey game against Wisconsin on October 5, where NAHA players had the opportunity to meet their mentees, creating lasting memories.

Looking ahead, the next event will be a festive Halloween skate, promising more fun and camaraderie for all participants. This program not only strengthens bonds within the hockey community but also empowers young players through mentorship and support.

The Jr. Hawks values are: to develop, mentor, and inspire, and we embody these traits each and every day! Mentorship is such an important part of personal growth & development, and they are excited to support our young sisterhawks!
