The E9 Prep September Invitational was held this past weekend at PTG Memorial Arena in Haverhill, MA, featuring the Prep Showcase league teams and welcoming a top program in the Jersey Hitmen, who are ranked #6 in New Jersey.

In the U15 Division, the Boston Hockey Academy (BHA) and the East Coast Wizards stood out. BHA wrapped up the weekend with a perfect 2-0 record, securing victories over the Springfield Thunderbirds, Valley Jr. Warriors, and 95 Giants, which elevated their ranking to #5 in Massachusetts. The East Coast Wizards also finished undefeated at 2-0, defeating the Boston Advantage and the #9 ranked Valley Jr. Warriors.

The U16 Division saw three teams achieve significant wins. The Valley Jr. Warriors triumphed over #4 MA ranked Lovell Academy, while the #11 Assabet Patriots claimed a victory against the Boston Advantage. The Boston Hockey Academy enjoyed a strong weekend, also going 2-0 with wins against the Springfield Jr. Thunderbirds and the Jersey Hitmen. Meanwhile, the traveling Jersey Hitmen, ranked #6 in New Jersey, had a solid showing, finishing 3-1 with wins over the Assabet Patriots, East Coast Wizards, and Valley Jr. Warriors, with their only loss coming against BHA.

In the 18U Division, Boston Hockey Academy finished with a record of 2-0-1, defeating Lovell Academy and Boston Advantage while tying the 95 Giants. The #10 MA ranked 95 Giants also performed well, ending with a record of 1-0-2, tying both Springfield Jr. Thunderbirds and Boston Hockey Academy, and securing a win against the Valley Jr. Warriors.

The E9 Prep Showcase league will now shift its focus to the upcoming showcase from October 4th to 6th at Lovell Arena in Rockland, MA, where these top-ranked programs will compete to improve their standings in league play.
